Creative Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Project Manager to support the release of an original comic book project.

This position requires regular coordination within the Pacific Time Zone (PST). Candidates more than 6 hours outside PST may be considered if they are fully comfortable working within PST hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee project timelines and track key production milestones
  • Coordinate communication between writers, artists, and distribution platforms
  • Ensure smooth progression from final creative assets to release
  • Identify and resolve team-related issues as they arise
  • Support team continuity, including helping fill or replace roles if needed
  • Maintain a productive, structured, and comfortable working environment for contributors
  • Provide regular status updates to the Senior Project Manager
  • Adapt workflows and processes as the project evolves

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to take ownership of problems and resolve them independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience working in comics, publishing, or other creative/art industries
  • Familiarity with scripts or story-driven content and an understanding of creative workflows
  • Basic knowledge of legal considerations in creative projects, including rights, contracts, and releases
  • Working understanding of marketing fundamentals and how creative projects are positioned and launched
  • Spanish proficiency: Native or Advanced
  • English proficiency: Native or Advanced
